A 20-year-old Singaporean girl and her mother were having their holiday in Bukit Bintang, Kuala Lumpur, when the girl was allegedly molested by a male masseuse at a spa.
The man had allegedly used his hands to “play” with the girl’s chest and put his lips there, as well as nearly putting his finger to her private parts but was stopped by the girl.
The mother of the girl reached out to local influencer Diah Mastura (@etrangle) for advice after exhausting all options, with the Singapore embassy purportedly telling her that there is nothing that the Singapore police can do because the incident happened in Malaysia.
The masseuse was allegedly arrested on the spot and held for just a few hours, and the Malaysian officer were allegedly making jokes about it.

EDIT: I have decided to turn off commenting for this post because some of you were not even helping. Some even started arguing/fighting with one another. Kind of sad that victims are always held accountable in molest and rape cases. Hence, not many are brave enough to come forward to share their stories. Humans have a tendency to victim blame. Rather than blame the victim, try putting yourself in that person’s shoes and perhaps try a little empathy instead. Regardless of his gender, the masseur WAS EXPECTED to be professional. Yes, perhaps the mom’s mistake was to trust the massage spa too much, and hence she didn’t mind if it was a male or female massaging the daughter. Let this be a lesson to all. But it’s not our job to judge her.

Spa name: Royal Spa @ Bukit Bintang ( it’s either they have deactivated their FB or blocked me for exposing them.) I think it’s the latter.
