A guy who is presumably working as a barista, shared how he “accidentally” asked a customer to say “please” when making her order.
Here is what he said
I accidentally asked a customer to say “please”, I let my intrusive thoughts win!
This lady comes in, she asks me for an iced coffee. She just says “give me an iced coffee”, and then I got p—-d off lah!
And then in my head I was like “don’t know how to say please ah?”
But when I looked back up at her, I wanted to ask her to pay, I said “say please”. And it was so embarrassing.
But she looked back up, and she’s like “sorry, please.” BRO, IT WORKED! IT FREAKING WORKED!
But I had to play it off, so I just went “thank you”. and then she paid and she went to the side. goddammit man, just to be confident! That’s all you have to do!
