The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) said on 26 November that the Vaccinated Travel Lane will be extended to include 6 more countries in December, including Thailand.
The six countries to be added to the VTL are Thailand, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Fiji, Maldives and Turkey.
MOH has classified the above countries as Category 2 countries, meaning that they have similar or lower Covid-19 rates as Singapore and the other countries in the list.
The VTL with Thailand will be launched on 14 December while the VTL for the other 5 countries will be launched on 16 December.
Applications for the VTL with Thailand will start on 7 December at 10am, while applications for the other 5 countries will start on 9 December at 10am.
In addition to the extension, the quota of the VTLs will be increased from 10,000 travelers daily to 15,000 travelers daily.
