The video of the confrontation was uploaded online by the Singapore man but was later taken down – however, it was later reuploaded by another netizen on Twitter.

The delivery rider was seen filming the man in blue, scolding him and accusing him of doing delivery jobs in Singapore illegally, as the man in blue cried.

The man in blue could be seen covering his face as he cried, while the delivery rider demanded to see his “receipt”, referring to his delivery order slip.

The delivery rider continued to scold the man in blue, telling him that he’s “not supposed to come to Singapore to do this,” adding that his jobs are getting lesser because of him.

The man was seen at one point squatting down on the ground with his palms clasped together and begging the delivery rider to give him a chance.

According to Foodpanda, only Singaporeans or Permanent Residents are allowed to apply to work as food delivery riders for them.

However, it is unclear if the man in blue is a Singaporean or a foreigner.

Netizens online have since responded to the video, calling the delivery rider out and siding with the man in blue, saying that the man is just trying to make a living.
