I was wondering how do you guys make extra money/passive income living in sg? I make about 3.5k a month and i feel like i am barely surviving because i have school loans to think about and my marriage is coming soon. Help!

1. The easiest and fastest way to “earn” is to see how much you can cut down for daily expenses. Tabulate on excel and figure out, you’ll be surprised at the amount of junk you spend on.
   As for side hustles… Really up to you. If you are good at something and can offer a service for it, do it. You can get quite creative for this.
   • (OP) I was just thinking about this, probably a lot of junk. I have already cut down on my hobby, aquarium. I need to check what else to cut down.
2. How old are you? Are you fresh graduate? I would think that pay is ok for fresh graduate? But I graduated more than 10 years ago I may be outdated. Ideally you can separate the loans pay finish student loan before you take on house loan and pay for wedding n kids so you don’t have multiple commitment at the same time.
   You can do part time on weekends and evenings but I feel its also limited if you’re really doing it all at once. If you are able to scrimp and save and don’t have alot of burden, try to faster pay off study loan.
   Cut down on wedding. Do simple ones ideally below 10k. I.e no hotel banquet. Bto if can’t afford mature estate or 5 room take 4 room or even 3 room and plan for max 1 kid.
   • (OP) Im 29 this year. I just started my degree. I dont mind doing part time on weekends but damn the degree is just taking too much of my time, period.
     In regard to wedding, yes a small one for sure.
3. u can do some gigs (like fastjobs/jod) on the weekend (i hate it cuz it’s crowded af but the pay is the same), but if u dont need to rest much on your weekend, up to you.
   Saw that you got school, just….don’t, rest well. That little bit more not worth it.

   Alot places hiring drivers
   If you have 2B, you can do private investigation work, debt collection, swimming pool maintenance, etc.
   You got CEI? Apply as a recruiter.
