A man in Singapore was horrified to find a cockroach “dried up and flat as paper” on his Hup Seng Cream Crackers biscuits.
He was having the biscuits for breakfast and was about to dip the next piece of biscuit into his tea when he saw something “abnormal”.
He had initially thought that it was ink or something, but when he took a closer look, realised that it was a cockroach dried up on the biscuit.
Pieces of the dead cockroach’s legs could be seen on the biscuit, and he said that what was supposed to be his everyday breakfast routine has become something he will never eat ever again.
The Singapore Food Agency is investigating the incident and advised members of the public who come across any potentially errant food operator to report it to them.
They said that food manufacturers must play their part by following good food hygiene and preparation practices.
Here is what he said
Beware of this famous biscuit!!!
Halfway eating dipping my biscuits into the tea and about to dip my next one when i saw something abnormal sticking on it.
First i thought it was ink or something, check closer and saw what looks like Mr Roach already dried up and flat as paper.
What i normally eat as breakfast everyday becomes something i will never eat forever. Bloody disgusting!!!
