A netizen on Facebook shared photos of a man lying on his back with his arms out wide along a pavement at about 5 am in the morning, blocking the walkway.
The Facebook user shared the photos on the Singapore Incident Facebook group earlier today (20 April).
The netizen said that at the time, about 5.16 am, he was on his way to exercise in the morning when he chanced upon the “dead body”, thinking that the man had suffered a heart attack and died.
However, he later took a closer look at the man, who was laying on the ground motionless, and realised that he had simply passed out on the ground and was sleeping.
He deduced that the man was probably drunk as he was sleeping in a pile of what appears to be his own vomit, as can be seen in one of the photos that the netizen shared, showing a thick clump of vomit beside the man.
The unconscious man also appeared to have injured himself, with blood being seen on his pants and knees, as he laid in the middle of the pavement.
The netizen added that despite being disgusted by the sight, he still made the effort to rouse the drunk man awake and sent him on his way home.
He also lamented about how two other people had seen the unconscious man but avoided him instead of lending a helping hand.

This morning 5:16am.
On my morning exercise I came across this scene. Local Chinese guy, first I though he got a heart attack and died but luckily he was just passed out from alcohol and sleeping in his own vomit.
As disgusting as it was I still helped him wake up and set him on his way home.
Btw, I saw 2 locals just avoided him before I arrived.
