A video capturing an altercation at a carpark near Block 984D Buangkok Link has recently been shared on the SG Road Vigilante Facebook page.
The incident reportedly occurred on 28th May 2023 at around 12:30 pm. The person who posted the video, explained that they were attempting to execute a three-point turn to exit the loading bay when they encountered an obstruction caused by another driver’s vehicle.
Due to the limited space available, the OP found it necessary to get the attention of the other driver to resolve the situation and prevent damage to their vehicle. After initial attempts to communicate went unanswered, the OP resorted to briefly honking their horn to grab the man’s attention.
Unexpectedly, this action seemed to trigger an aggressive response from the man. Allegedly, he reversed his car to block the OP’s exit and proceeded to open his car door while unleashing a torrent of profanities and challenging the OP to come out and fight.
The accompanying video footage reveals the man continuously directing his middle finger towards the OP. Furthermore, he can be heard shouting vulgarities in both English and Hokkien dialect towards the OP’s car.
According to the post, the OP’s wife contacted the police during the incident. Throughout the incident, two elderly voices, likely the OP’s parents, were also present in the car. They expressed their disapproval of the man’s behavior.
To avoid further escalation, the OP ultimately decided to drive onto the kerb and leave the scene. However, the man allegedly continued to issue threats as they drove away.

I had the misfortune to encounter a very aggressive, threatening and vulgar motorist who blocked my vehicle from exiting a corner loading unloading lot which i am using to make a 3 point turn exit.
The lot which I reverse in has the kerb and walkway on the right of my car, so when i 3 point turn out i need more space to move out.
When it is time for me to leave, I notice his car is in the way. I cannot catch his attention so i just beep a quick beep on the horn to catch his attention.
When i beeped at him to shift his car to let me exit, he instead reversed to further block the road, opened his door to scream vulgarities and threatened me to a fight.
My wife called the police and to not continue the escalation i had to mount the kerb on my right to make space to drive away. Our vehicles did not make any contact.
When i did this he continued to verbally threaten and call me over to fight.
