Son got abducted by kidnappers in broad daylight

According to a report by Mothership, CCTV footage from a nearby building captured a chilling sequence of events. While Lin was inside a workshop, his two children were playing innocently outside.

In a matter of moments, a gold-colored car pulled up, and a man swiftly abducted Lin’s seven-year-old son, leaving the family in shock.

The mother, momentarily away, returned to witness the unfolding tragedy. Lin, upon hearing his daughter’s cry for help, sprang into action.

Determined to rescue his son, he chased the kidnappers’ car, even managing to block their path momentarily. However, the desperate attempt resulted in a collision, and Lin found himself face to face with the kidnappers.

Undeterred, Lin continued his pursuit. Despite losing sight of the kidnappers’ car, he eventually discovered it abandoned by the road, about 3km from the scene.

Miraculously, his son was unharmed and safe inside. After a heart-wrenching ordeal, father and son were finally reunited.

However, Lin didn’t escape unscathed as he suffered injuries to his face, arms, hands and lost two of his teeth.

Police Involvement and Investigation

Upon returning to Singapore, Lin wasted no time in reporting the incident. A visit to the Johor Bahru police station and Ang Mo Kio South Neighbourhood Police Centre followed.

Lin provided crucial CCTV footage, revealing not only the car but also a man lurking near the workshop before the abduction. Shockingly, this man turned out to be Lin’s business partner.

The Malaysian police successfully apprehended Lin’s business partner, shedding light on the motive behind the abduction—money.

However, the three other individuals involved remain at large, prompting continued investigations on both sides of the border.

In a bid for justice, Lin chose to make the incident public, emphasizing the premeditated nature of the crime. He expressed his hesitancy to engage in any business ventures in Malaysia, underlining the need for accountability for all parties involved.
