A TikTok user, @nicabits, received a comment from a Singapore parent who complained that her kid is now speaking with a Pinoy accent.

The parent said that her kid’s teacher is a Pinoy, blaming the teacher for passing on the accent to her child.
She then wanted MOE to stop employing Pinoys because she doesn’t want her kids to speak with the accent.
@nicabits then replied that if the child is speaking with an accent, that means the parent is not spending enough time with the child.
