A Singapore police officer was injured in a traffic accident while he was performing escort duties on Tuesday (17 January).
The incident happened on 17 January at about 10.50am, at the junction of Raffles Boulevard and Nicoll Highway, according to The Straits Times.
The Singapore Police Force said that the accident involved a traffic police motorcycle and a car, although details of the accident have not been disclosed.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force also said that they were alerted to the accident at about 10.55am, and the police officer who was injured was conveyed to Raffles Hospital.
The police added that the 30-year-old injured police officer was conveyed to the hospital conscious.
A photo of the aftermath of the accident emerged online, showing a damaged blue car in the middle of the road junction.
At the time of writing, the police are investigating.
