The Singapore Police Force issued a police advisory on their Facebook page on the join SPF-SAF counter terrorism exercise that will be held on 13 May from 12.30am to 5am.
Blanks will be fired at the Singapore Expo and the Institute of Technical Education College East, and the police advised the public not to be alarmed.

SPF’S ADVISORY ON JOINT SPF-SAF COUNTER-TERRORISM EXERCISE
The Singapore Police Force (SPF), the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), and the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) will be conducting a joint exercise from 12.30am to 5.00am on 13 May 2022.
During the exercise, blanks will be used at the Singapore Expo and the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) College East.
Members of the public can expect heightened visibility of SPF, SAF and SCDF officers during the exercise and are advised not to be alarmed.
To facilitate the conduct of the exercise, cordons will be set up and ‘Exercise-in-Progress’ signage will be placed around the exercise areas.
