S’PORE POLICE WARNS OF FAKE “GRABFOOD VOUCHERS” BY SCAMMERS

The Sengkang Neighbourhood Police Centre posted on their Facebook page, warning about a new type of scam that scammers are utilizing.

It is of a flyer printed with “scan me and receive $20 GrabFood voucher” on it, and a QR code below it requesting for people to “scan me”.

The QR code will then request people for their personal details.

Grab has since clarified that the flyer wasn’t created nor endorsed by them, and that they have no promotions whatsoever where users are required to scan a QR code to redeem vouchers.
