
Bai Fan, 38, a Singaporean PR who arrived from China on 19 September last year, was charged on 5 March for twice leaving the hotel where he was serving his SHN.
On 19 September, he reportedly breached his SHN at Fairmont Hotel to meet his wife in a car, where they spent an hour and 40 minutes together inside the car in the vicinity.
On 20 September, he met his wife again and they spent 5 hours together inside the car, first in the vicinity and then later on, they moved to a car park nearby.
Bai Fan returned to the hotel after midnight on his second meeting with his wife, who is also a PR but wasn’t serving a SHN.
Bai is being charged with 2 counts of breaching the Infectious Diseases (Covid 19 – Stay Orders) Regulations 2020, where he is due to return to court on 26 March.
