A Singapore Uncensored reader recently shared a story on how he felt that many Singaporeans are racist. He even stated on how Singaporeans would act racist and how the government does nothing about it.

Hi all,
I am a Singaporean who has been one for 40 years now. I have had many race friends and most of my exs are mostly Chinese. I am not Chinese. I am from a minority mixed race.
All my life i have heard friends of mine tell me how much they cant stand the majority race because of all racial abuse they have endured at their hands throughout school and amongst friends. But in all honestly, i was never able to understand or comprehend what they were trying to say. I was living in a perfect world because most of my friends were Chinese…..8/10 ex gfs were Chinese too. I even speak Mandarin more fluently then my Chinese friends! So the point is i never felt that Singaporean Chinese were racist.
Because, even if they were….when i spoke their mother tongue i was given a pass most of the time. Its like a freebie pass into their friendlier world.
Now my foreign friends who lived here during their youths also told me when i met them overseas that the most racist country they have ever lived in was Singapore. I obviously denied and asked him why he felt that way. So this is what he said…….
“In Singapore i was always called ang moh…..u guys might think that is not racist but its equivalent to us calling you guys chink, curry or yellow instead of calling you by your name. Though being Singaporean i can see why this happened and how we had no intention towards being a racist but its just our local slang….well ladies and gentleman……this is the point….alot of things we take as norm is actually bloody racist around the world….even the US wont tolerate it.
For example, only in Singapore media can you read articles that will always state a specific race. For example :
- Chinese man does this
- 4 malay yps
- Two indian gangsters
Do u think it will be allowed for people overseas to do that on their media? Imagine this
Black man kills woman
mexican man robs shop
Even a third world country like the states knows that there is no need to mention a race in most statements…..the race has nothing to do with the action. But its a norm here. So wake up call….a lot of our norm is considered extreme racism everywhere else in this world.
Now moving on.
SO as i was saying i never felt the racism that my friends did….or i was too ignorant to notice it. That was all until the covid19 pandemic started.
Since the covid19 started……initially all the heat on was China and Chinese ppl. And during that phase though some ppl made jokes about china , no one went out in public to humiliate another race. But someone did mention that….if the tables were turned n this virus came from India….the Chinese will not be as kind as us. Which ended up true!
The very minute foreign workers dorm got infected due to the failure of our government…..the Chinese folks immediately switched the whole scenario over. They started making it look like the biolab was from India and that India created this virus and was responsible for all this . What a bunch of ungrateful wankers.
Ok why am i whining so much? Well im sick and tired of this……there will come a point one of us might lose our cool. You can push someone against the wall repeatedly…one fine day they will fight back. And hope the government puts a stop to this before the whole shit house goes chaotic. This is xenophobia and i dont think i have much patience left in me.
I am someone who goes out to run everyday in the morning ……every damn day i have to meet some racist chinese uncle and aunty that will ruin my entire morning with their ignorant bastardized characters. The other day at 5am i was running and i saw this couple….in the 50s….when they saw me they started behaving like i was a cockroach that they couldnt even walk on the pathway that way there …they had to cross the grass path…And when confronted …he said i was a racist lol.
Ok but today i dont know wat to do anymore man….i really dont. I was innocently running my 10km around bukit panjang segar road. While i was running up a slope….a chinese lady was running down …the minute she saw me ..she quickly u turn and sped upwards….while doing that she repeatedly turn to check if im close or not……..How do you think it will make another human feel? Ask yourself…The only time u behave like this is when u see a cockroach or something disgusting.
So i ignored her and continued running…..when i reached the top of the hill i started running downwards….guess wat? She was there again and she saw me coming and did it again!!!
Man i just loudly mentioned that hey im a local Singaporean….u dont need to be like that. She ignored and ran away.
Ok fine …now i moved on and i was about to head home…which required me to climb down a stairwell…at the bottom of the stairwell…god damn it was her there again!!
And yes,, when she saw me……she was about to turn again….i just loudly said hello im Singaporean…what is ur problem? SO she took out her camera n started filming…hey i have no problem filming….i wasnt the racist! So i took out my phone n told her come near n shoot me clearer….dont stand afar….u cant see or hear anything….but she refused…..SO i jogged towards her way with my camera….she started jogging backwards while shooting me with her camera.
Guys, put yourself in our shoes for a second…..how long do you think it will take before you break and say fk it!! Going prison is worth it.. You tell me
I am so sick and tired of these racist *ssh*les ….they will be racist and when confronted they will push the blame back to you and call u racist. I really stood in shock when a racist told me im a racist….lol
This same thing happened at my block……ppl wont take the lift with other races…….
The government isnt doing shit about it …….and if we do anything about it they will come after us. But pls do something….our patience has limits. My biggest concern is that one fine day i flip and do something i shouldnt. Thus im asking the Gov to put a severe sentence on such behavior. Please
So are we multi racial……or multi racist?
NOTE: Not all Chinese ppl are this way….there are the realllllllly cool ones….super cool uncles and aunty. But im sorry ….we need to deal with the racist ones…if they dont like living amongst other races….we need to export them to back to China.
