According to Mothership, a Singaporean family was looking for a flat and were surprised after they received a response that many might considered uncalled for from the real estate agent.
The moment she texted the property agent, the responses she got was
“Hi, I’m Sorry landlord prefer non-Indian tenants. Thanks”
Although the Singaporean is a local Malay, the agent assumed her race from her Whatsapp photo which was a woman in a Sari.
An analogy equivalent to the agent’s behaviour is like saying “Got moustache means your father ah?”

This is not the first discrimination that has ever happened, recently another Singapore resident face a similar encounter.
