In response to an article about 7 Singaporeans who were interviewed by an SME boss which stated that Singaporean youths have high expectations and ask for the “moon”. A Singaporean has hit back and stated that SME bosses are taking advantage and squeezing Singaporeans.

Most of you would have probably read about the 7 locals going for interview. I just think it’s not right for them to make use of the crisis to lowball fresh grads. Traineeship 2.5K with no cpf and we shouldn’t be complaining? Just my 2 cents worth…
i grad not too long ago and working for an MNC… and my take is, local companies just wanna squeeze you for the amount they pay you for… like seriously so tired of hearing that we should be thankful etc.. what we should be doing is stand up and fight for higher wages… we’re good, we’re capable, we can do big things… don’t let ppl lowball you….
