A video emerged online and went massively viral on TikTok, showing a student who is reportedly from St Andrew’s Secondary School, threatening a male teacher inside a classroom.
The boy was speaking to someone at the door, before approaching the teacher standing inside the class and shouting at him.
The boy then confronted the teacher and pointed a finger at his face, to which the teacher then shouted at the student not to touch him.
The student was then seen in the video telling the teacher to watch his mouth, before adding “I will end your life right now man.”
The teacher then told the student not to touch him again, to which the boy told him to “shut your mouth, b—-.”
Asked teacher “what you gonna do about it?”
Another video clip of the incident showed the teacher telling the student to “don’t scold me”, to which the boy then got up int he teacher’s face and asked him “what you gonna do about it?”
The argument then got heated and purportedly vulgar (the audio isn’t very clear), and the teacher then shouted at the student “don’t scold me a four letter word!”
The student then told the teacher to “get a bloody life first” before walking away, as the students in the room cheered and laughed, egging the two to “fight, fight!”
The boy then said “walk away now, I give you one chance, you walk away not.”
Statement from the school
St Andrew’s Secondary School issued a statement saying that they are aware of the incident and have disciplined the student.
“The school is aware of the incident. We take a serious view on disrespectful behaviour towards staff and the student has been disciplined. We have also engaged the student’s parents, and will work closely with them to counsel and guide him.”
