STAFF & RESIDENTS AT LEE AH MOOI OLD AGE HOME TESTED FOR COVID-19 AFTER STAFF INFECTED

The Ministry of Health (MOH) announced in their daily update on August 31 that 90 of the staff and residents ot Lee Ah Mooi Old Age Home were tested for Covid-19 after one of their care staff was infected and tested positive in the Philippines.

She last worked at the nursing home on August 26 and reportedly did not display any symptoms during her time here.

The close contacts of the case were identified and tested, including staff and residents.

All 90 of them have tested negative for the coronavirus.

Lee Ah Mooi Old Age Home released a statement, saying that the affected staff had adorned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during her shifts.

The affected areas have since been cleaned and disinfected.
