STALL ASSISTANT JAILED FOR DISFIGURING BREAST OF PRAWN NOODLE STALL OWNER

Kim Eng Suthivanich, 52, was jailed for 10 months after splashing hot water on the chest of a prawn noodles stall owner. The victim suffered from severe burns that disfigures her left breast.

Suthivanich was initially cleared of the charge but the high court reversed the acquittal following an appeal by prosecutors.

The attack which happened on 13 August 2017 was captured by CCTV footage. The perpetrator apparently grabbed a ladle, scooped water from the stove before splashing it at the victim several times. The incident happened as Suthivanich was unhappy that the victim took cleaning lotion and a cloth but did not return them.

The victim was given 17 days medical leave.
