Ho was caught off guard by the offers from the strangers, who wanted to pay the bill for them to help out the restaurant.

But Ho rejected their offers and said that they were not needed, and that she treated the incident as a charity case – she was grateful for the offer though.

Ho added that the she was frustrated by the incident because it’s very hard for her “small shop”, and that this was the first time something like this had happened to her in over 2 decades in the F&B business.

The two couple ate at the restaurant and left without paying the bill, with both sides saying that the other person was responsible for paying the bill.
