STUDENT AT PALM VIEW PRIMARY SCHOOL INFECTED WITH CORONAVIRUS

According to a circular for parents, a student studying at Palm View Primary school has been confirmed with the coronavirus.

The student last went to school on the 30th of March 2020.

Dear parents,
Palm View Primary School to implement an additional day of Home-Based Learning (HBL) on 2 April 2020

The student was well when last In school on Monday, 30 March 2020. The student continues to remain in high spirits while receiving treatment. Students and staff who had been in close contact with the student will be placed on Leave of Absence (IAA) with immediate effect for a period of 14 days from today. 1 April 2020.

During this time, the school will conduct a thorough cleaning and disinfection of the school premises. These measures are In place to ensure that our school remains a safe environment for teaching and learning All students and staff are reminded to continue to observe good hygiene practices and to see a doctor immediately if feeling unwell.

The school will resume on Friday, 3 April 2020. In the meantime, we understand your child may be affected as some of their teachers and peers are placed on LOA. We seek your support to talk to your child and discuss ways to look out for and encourage their peers who are affected.
