r33Members of the public who have received such calls or have information related to such scams are advised to submit the information online at www.police.gov.sg/iwitness or lodge a police report.

Members of the public are advised to take the following precautionary measures to avoid falling victim to these scams:

(i) Ignore such calls and the caller’s instructions.
(ii) Ignore advertisements of a dubious nature.
(iii) Do not provide your name, identification number, passport details, contact details, bank account or credit card details. Such information are useful to criminals.
(iv) Do not make payments or transfer money to any stranger whom you have not met before and report the matter to the Police immediately.
