SUN PLAZA WOMAN ARRESTED FOR HURTING POLICE OFFICER

The woman was named the “2nd sovereign” in Singapore by netizens has been arrested.

  • The 40-year-old Singaporean woman was arrested by the police for
  • deliberately injuring and preventing a female police officer from performing official duties insulting two shopping mall staff
  • destroying her IC cards
  • refusing to wear a mask.

The police issued a statement tonight (May 8) that at about 2:10 pm yesterday, the police were alerted to assist in a woman who was a nuisance in public at Sun Plaza, Sembawang.

Initial investigations revealed that at around 2 pm yesterday,Sun Plaza staff found out that the woman did not wear a mask when she entered the mall. 

The woman even insulted the store staff and a security guard who came to assist with the situation.

When the police asked the woman to identify herself, the woman began to tear off the address sticker on the ID card. At this time, a police officer tried to stop, the woman actually acted violently to the police officer, and still did not cooperate, and was subsequently arrested by the police.
