The situation is ridiculous. My aunt’s friend was stuck in the carpark for over an hour and Suntec management insists there was no system error and that she should pay the full fee.
UPDATE: Suntec Management have verified the CCTV footage of the car entry but still insist that the driver pay the full fee.
FURTHER UPDATE: Police have arrived at the scene to mediate. Suntec management still insists on the $215. Only after further talks have they settled for a car park fee of $2.20 (a fee that includes the 1+ hour the car was stuck in the carpark.) Note that this is AFTER verifying CCTV footage.
