TADA Singapore, a prominent ride-hailing platform, finds itself under scrutiny as a customer, Alexo Yeoh, recently reported a harrowing experience of a driver falling asleep at a traffic junction.
The incident sheds light on the delicate balance between the challenges faced by drivers and the paramount importance of ensuring passenger safety.
Alexo Yeoh’s Account of the Incident
In a detailed account, Alexo Yeoh expressed concern over his TADA Singapore driver’s evident fatigue. The driver resorted to constant hard braking, swerving to avoid road edges, and, most alarmingly, dozing off at a junction. This unsettling experience prompted Yeoh to emphasize the unacceptable risk posed to passengers.
While acknowledging the hardships faced by drivers working long hours, the incident raises questions about the delicate balance required. Earning a livelihood is undoubtedly challenging, but compromising passenger safety due to driver fatigue is a line that should never be crossed.
Yeoh’s strong stance on the driver’s actions being “totally unacceptable” highlights the urgency of addressing safety concerns.
The plea directed at TADA Singapore underscores the need for immediate corrective measures to ensure that passengers are not exposed to unnecessary risks during their journeys.
Yeoh tagged TADA Singapore on his post and asked them “how? Like this can meh?”
Here is what he said
Driver was obviously very tired,
He was constantly hard braking, steering away from the side of the road as he was trying to avoid the corners and at one point literally dozed off during the a junction.
We understand the hardships of driving the entire day. But this time, it is totally unacceptable.
As much as he wants to earn his money, our lives shouldn’t be put at risk.
TADA Singapore how? Like this can meh?
