TADA DRIVER WANT “SMOKE” PASSENGER “REFUSE TO CANCEL” PASSENGER ALSO TADA DRIVER

Booked a ride around 6pm and was accepted by driver B*** L***, carplate SLJ****L.

App showed that driver was 3 minutes away pending a drop off nearby.

However, he went further and further from my pick up location at cck, all the way to boon lay.

I messaged the driver to ask if he was coming and also asked him why was he going further away to no avail.

Finally I called him and he feigned ignorance, telling me that he did not know he accepted the ride and it might be because of Auto accept.

I then told the driver to cancel the ride so that I can book another ride before hanging up the phone.

However, driver seems like he did not want to cancel and hence I drop him another message reminding him to.

He then replied me with a ‘but its not even confirmed’, seemingly trying to bluff me that he didn’t accept the ride and implying that he doesn’t want to cancel because of this reason.

Finally I had to tell him that I used to be a PHV driver also and upon receipt of that message he quickly cancelled the ride.

I hope that Tada can take some action against said driver, drivers like these are really the black sheep of the industry and should be dealt with.

If nothing is done I would lodge a official complain with the authorities.
