The night market in Taiwan has always been one of my favourite places to visit for a bit of fun. There’s something about the atmosphere that is so unique and one of a kind. The smell of food, the sound of laughter, and the hustle and bustle of people make it a great place to take a break from the daily grind.
Normally I don’t play night market games as my Taiwan friends told me that it is a scam. But I decided to give it a try.
The game was similar to a carnival game, where you had to shoot down targets to win points. It didn’t seem too complicated, so I decided to give it a go. I was a bit surprised to find out that there was already a line of people waiting to take their turn.
At the front of the line was a Singaporean man in his 30s who was evidently determined to win. He had already racked up a huge score and I was a bit intimidated by his skill.
Never missed a single target
The man was seen shooting down the balloons one by one and he shot 120 balloons in a row! The vendor was busy trying to hook down those prizes that were up for display.
The man won about 11 plushies and wanted to continue but the vendor suddenly said in an angry tone “WE ARE CLOSING ALREADY”
Well, the night market just started and it is obvious that the vendor doesn’t want the man to continue playing.
So after the man left with his prizes I thought I will finally get a chance to shoot.
The vendor asks if I am a Singaporean army man. I said I used to be, and he then told me the same thing saying that he is closing.
Wah lan, we got shoot 100m range in army this kind peanut for us. He opened a business but scared people win ah. HAHA
