Taiwan has temporarily suspended Singapore from visa-free entry into their country, according to the Taiwan Bureau of Consular Affairs (BCA).
At the time of writing, there have been no official statements or reasons for temporarily suspending Singapore, yet.
It was previously announced by Taiwan on 5 September that Singapore was among a list of countries that was allowed visa-free entry.
It is unclear what sparked the u-turn in the decision.
Singapore was previously allowed to enter without a visa and stay for up to 30 days, according to the Taiwanese Central Epidemic Command Centre on 5 September.
Among the other countries that are now temporarily suspended from entering Taiwan visa-free, include:

- Dominican Republic
- Israel
- Japan
- Republic of Korea
- Nicaragua
- Singapore
- Malaysia
- Thailand
- Brunei
- Philippines
- Russia
