A shocking relationship scandal in Taiwan has gone viral online after a married woman reportedly uncovered her businessman husband’s affair with a social media influencer. The discovery came after she examined her husband’s mobile phone and allegedly found a collection of intimate messages, photos and videos involving the influencer and several other women.
The incident quickly sparked widespread discussion across social media platforms, with many netizens expressing disbelief over the unusual circumstances surrounding the alleged relationship.
The story also drew attention to the extravagant lifestyle portrayed online by influencers, including luxury shopping, designer handbags and visits to five-star hotels — elements often associated with influencer marketing, luxury lifestyle branding and social media monetisation.
Large Collection Of Photos Found On Husband’s Phone

According to Taiwanese media reports, the woman stumbled upon the alleged affair while browsing through her husband’s phone. What she discovered shocked her — a series of intimate conversations between her husband and a popular influencer known online as “Nanako”.
In addition to the chats, the phone reportedly contained numerous photos and videos showing the two together. One image that circulated online showed the businessman posing closely with the influencer, with his arm around her waist while a large Chanel handbag sat on their laps.
The luxury item was widely believed by online commentators to be a gift from the businessman.
Observers also noted that while the influencer frequently shared photos of herself on social media with her girlfriends, designer fashion items and visits to upscale restaurants, men rarely appeared in her posts.
The glamorous online content included outings at Michelin-starred restaurants, luxury hotels and branded shopping trips — content typical of influencer marketing and lifestyle sponsorship culture.
Hot Spring Photos With Three Other Women Spark Outrage

However, the most controversial discovery reportedly came when the wife found photos of her husband at a hot spring together with the influencer and three other women.
In the images, the group of five were seen posing together while wrapped only in towels. The photos were reportedly taken during a hot spring bath outing, which quickly fuelled speculation online about the nature of their relationship.
According to the wife, the situation went beyond a simple group outing.
She claimed that videos on her husband’s phone showed that he had intimate relationships with multiple women in the group, suggesting that the situation resembled a so-called “harem” arrangement.
The revelation reportedly caused major turmoil within the family, with tensions escalating after the wife began following the social media accounts of the influencer as well as the accounts of people connected to her husband.
Influencer Shuts Down Instagram After Online Backlash
Once the story began spreading across Taiwanese social media, online users quickly located the influencer’s social media accounts and began posting critical comments.
The backlash reportedly intensified within hours, with thousands of comments appearing under her posts.
Facing the growing criticism, the influencer eventually deactivated her Instagram account. Before shutting it down, the account was said to have had roughly 54,000 followers.
Despite the closure of the Instagram page, her Facebook profile remained active, where internet users continued to leave sarcastic and critical remarks.
Some commenters mocked the situation while others made jokes about the alleged lifestyle associated with wealthy businessmen and influencers.
The incident has since become a widely discussed online topic in Taiwan, highlighting the complicated intersection between relationships, wealth, influencer culture and the public scrutiny that often follows viral scandals.
