A woman wanted to rent space for Hari Raya, but was rejected due to her background. An email replied by Tampines 1 employees mentioned that they are only renting to Chinese.

“Hi Dee, We are not so keen to run a malay road show as our target audience are mainly chinese. Thus,we regret to inform you that we are unable to rent a space to you”
The woman was furious and reported Tampines 1 to the police.
Ms Diana’s posted her unfortunate situation on Facebook and it got viral.
Tampines 1 has responded by apologizing to Ms Diana on Facebook. The staff that send the email is being insensitive by responding to Ms Diana, the staff deserve to be sacked!
