On April 12, a traffic accident occurred outside the Courts Megastore in Tampines, involving a black car and a police car. A 48-year-old female passenger was taken to the hospital after the incident.

According to the Singapore Police Force (SPF) and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), they received a report of the accident at the junction of Tampines North Drive 2 and Tampines North Drive 1 at approximately 10:35 am.
The SPF confirmed that the 48-year-old female passenger was conscious when she was taken to the hospital. The 20-year-old police officer who was driving the police car is currently assisting with investigations.
