TAMPINES TEEN STABBED IN NECK WITH BROKEN BEER BOTTLE, 3 ARRESTED

According to a media release, a teenager was allegedly stabbed in the neck with a broken beer bottle.

Three-man ranging from 50 to 60 years old were arrested following the incident.

The story: The victim who was eating at Tampines at about 8.40 PM was confronted by 3 men and they said they were looking for a person called “Hafiz”.

The 3 men appeared to be intoxicated and confronted the teenage group, moments later one of the teenagers punched the older man and a fight happened. One of the older men pick up a broken beer bottle and stabbed the 18-year-old in the neck.

Although, one of the teenagers punched the older man, the teenager group claimed that they were innocent bystanders and not affiliated with any types of gangs such as “OMEGA” or “369”.

The boy is in a stable condition as the injury did not hit a critical vein on the neck.

Police said:

The incident happened on 10 March 2021 at Block 802 Tampines Ave 4, A 57-year-old and a 60-year-old were arrested for voluntarily causing grievous hurt with a dangerous weapon with common intention.

The third man was arrested for public nuisance.
