An 8-year-old boy in India was attacked by a cobra, and he then gave the snake a taste of its own medicine by biting it back, and the cobra ended up dying, according to The New Indian Express.
The 8-year-old boy, Deepak, was playing outside his home in the Pandarpadh village in Chhattisgarh on 31 October when he got attacked by a cobra.
The snake wrapped itself around the boy’s arm and bit down on it, with the snake holding on to it tightly despite the boy trying to shake it off.
The boy then bit into the cobra’s body, killing the reptile.
He later told The New Indian Express that he tried to shake the snake off but it didn’t budge, so he bit the snake hard twice, and it all happened so fast.
The boy was then rushed to a nearby hospital where he was kept under observation, where doctors found that he only sustained a dry bite and the snake didn’t release any venom into his system.
He didn’t show any symptoms and recovered quickly after the incident.
