These actions not only inconvenience passengers but also tarnish the reputation of taxi drivers in Singapore.
While it is understandable that drivers may prefer shorter trips, it is important to remember that their primary duty is to serve the public and take them to their desired destinations. In a small country like Singapore, it is crucial for taxi drivers to be more accommodating and flexible to meet the needs of their passengers.

What is the point of being a taxi driver if you are not going to take passengers, worse of all, you just park your vehicles there for 1 hour straight when it’s clearly a taxi stand for people to board taxi’s to go to their destinations. When being asked, you just said not going to that destination and you reject my family and the poor uncle that’s unable to walk properly rudely. I do know for a fact that you both just want to take nearby trips, this tactic was long use by many people, not only these two uncles actually. But when we choose to take grab you all older uncle taxi drivers then make noise. I’m trying my best here to support our local taxi’s first before I even go find a Grab for my family and guess what the grab driver that just accepted my trip just earned $58 from my trip alone and i really thank God for Grab drivers nowadays. Singapore is so small, yet taxi drivers want to be so choosy. If tired can always head towards home then just go sleep straight don’t need hang around Bugis+
