TCM practitioner is in ‘hot waters’ after a patient took legal action against Raffles Chinese Medicine after experiencing third-degree burns and scars.

During the treatment, Ms Tan heard weird sounds coming from the heating container and was worried if she should seek help.
To her surprise, she saw blisters forming at the treatment area. She was later diagnosed with third-degree burns.
Ms Tan, the 54-year-old patient seek treatments from the TCM clinic but ended up with more burn and scars. A private settlement was done amounting to $50,000 was compensated to Ms Tan.
