TEEN FORGED IC TO ENTER CLUB AT ORCHARD, CAUGHT BY BOUNCER

A 17-year-old YP wanted to join his older friends and go the club forged his identification card and used it on several occasions to sneak in.

The first incident in 2019 was when the boy was only 15 he photocopied his NRIC and edited it so it appeared that the boy was over 18.

In the second incident, In Jan 2020, the boy used the fake ID to access Sticky Fingers located along Keng Cheow Street but he was caught by security.

Third incident Feb 2020, the boy knew that his friend was going to the party and planned on making another identification check to bypass the security.

He edited photos of his original identification card and print it out at Tampines mall. However, the bouncer at Club One Min caught and detained him before calling the Police.

The teen will return to court next month for his sentencing and he might get a probation sentence.

Normally, anyone who is convicted of forgin NRIC to commit fraud can be jailed up to 4 years
