A statement was released by the Russian Defence Ministry, saying that they have agreed with the Ukrainian forces to allow the evacuation of Ukrainian civilians from the two cities at 10am Moscow time, according to the Associated Press (AP).

According to the BBC, the ceasefire will last from 9am to 4pm local time (7am to 2pm GMT), and the evacuation will commence at 11am local time (9am GMT).

The evacuation route will be from Mariupol to Zaporizhzhia to the west, with buses leaving three locations in the city; private transport will also be permitted along the route.

Straying away from the agreed upon evacuation route is forbidden.
