THAI UNDERWEAR BANDIT CAUGHT: “I PREFER PANTIES THAT ARE WORN BY NURSE”

Thai Teacher Arrested for Stealing Nurses’ Underwear, Sniffing Them, and Testing Positive for Drugs

A 36-year-old male science teacher in Buriram, Thailand, has been arrested after police uncovered dozens of stolen women’s undergarments in his possession. Shockingly, the suspect admitted to stealing nurses’ bras and panties, sniffing them until their scent wore off, and returning to steal more. He also tested positive for methamphetamine, adding a narcotics offence to his mounting list of charges.

The man, identified only as “Mr Noi”, was a civil servant working at a school in Buriram Province. His arrest followed multiple reports from nurses at Lahan Sai Hospital and Non Din Daeng Hospital, who noticed their personal undergarments going missing from their quarters. Following a complaint filed on 18 June 2025, police installed CCTV cameras outside the nurses’ accommodation — which ultimately captured the suspect red-handed.

Police used the footage to obtain an arrest warrant. They later raided Mr Noi’s residence, where they discovered a stash of stolen women’s underclothing, including nurse uniforms, bras, and panties, hidden in suitcases and baskets. A urine test conducted upon arrest confirmed he had recently consumed methamphetamine.

Creeping Into Nurses’ Flats at Night to Steal Bras and Panties

According to the authorities, Mr Noi had used a pickup truck — with number plates removed — to carry out the thefts discreetly. He would park near the hospital, scale the compound wall, and sneak into the back of the nurses’ flats to snatch undergarments hung out to dry. He committed these acts on at least two occasions — 18 June and 28 June 2025 — targeting multiple floors and rooms.

Police seized a pink lab coat embroidered with a nursing student’s name, five pairs of flesh-coloured panties, bras, and nurse uniforms from his home. Mr Noi confessed that he had developed feelings for one of the nurses and began stealing her undergarments as a form of emotional fixation. He added that once the scent faded, he would discard the items or destroy them.

He further admitted to committing similar thefts in the past, particularly at Ban Rom Klao School and Non Din Daeng Hospital. His criminal record revealed a similar offence dating back to 2019, suggesting a pattern of repeat misconduct.

Facing Multiple Charges Including Drug Use and Theft

Police have charged Mr Noi with theft in a government residence at night, use of a vehicle to commit the crime, and illegal use of a Category 1 narcotic substance. The case has sparked outrage online, with many calling for stricter background checks for teachers and civil servants in positions of trust.

The disturbing nature of the crimes — which include voyeurism, drug abuse, and violation of medical personnel’s privacy — has left the local community shaken. Authorities are continuing investigations to determine whether additional offences were committed and if more victims are involved.

This incident has reignited debate on public safety within hospital grounds and the need for robust CCTV surveillance and staff vetting, especially in rural districts where security is typically more relaxed.
