According to a media release, more than 30 people were found gathered in a bar located at Golden Mile Complex.

The incident has happened on 14 Dec 2020 and it is believed that more than 30 people have gathered in a bar for a birthday celebration. According to the media, there are no safe distancing measures in place. Safe entry scanning and temperature taking were not set up and customers could go in and out of the bar freely.
It was reported that there were several illegal bars or pub opened in golden mile complex and the staff will pull down the shutters when there are spot checks being conducted.
According to the law, anyone caught breaching the COVID-19 rules could be jailed up to 6 months and fined up to $10,000.
