A Facebook post went viral with 1,000 shares after a man alleged that a restaurant overcharged him by $37.50.
Zam Zam restaurant has been in Singapore since 1908, on Google Reviews there are over 7000 reviews and it has gathered an average rating of 4 stars.
The Facebook user uploaded a receipt showing $37.50 with no items listed. A netizen said “This is what cashiers do to pocket money”

In his post he said (translated): Greetings everyone, be careful. If you eat anywhere, you must count again, don’t pay at the counter. I almost paid an extra $37.50 at Zam Zam when I asked the cashier and he said $83. I forced him to do a recount, action without knowing the price, but he has to ask the one who serves us. It’s obvious there is a price for every order that we can add $37.50 for what?? When asked again Oo that kid spelled it wrong
It always seems on the extreme ends for each of the reviews. Either 1 or 5 stars.
