The sequel for the much-maligned Ah Girls Go Army has since been announced to be scheduled for release on 16 June.

The sequel, titled Ah Girls Go Army Again, was announced by Jack Neo’s production company J Team on 20 May.
Neo posted an update announcing the wrapping up of the movie on 20 April, revealing that the two movies were completed after 49 days.
The sequel was completed on 19 April, with Neo sharing that they will be offering movie marathons where viewers can watch both movies at one go for those who missed the first movie or would like a recap before watching the sequel.
The first Ah Girls Go Army movie sees a group of female recruits undergoing national service and is a spin off of the Ah Boys To Men franchise.
