Scammers are really playing very hard to get, they keep making up different stories to scam people.
They will make up all sorts of stories just to get the personal information of the user.
New “Story”
According to a netizen who published a screenshot of the scammer, they are now using a different “storyline” compare to before.
“Your bank reported that your nric has expired. Pls show us now your nric. If not the bank will cancel your bank card and you will be arrested”
Previously, they have been telling people on video calls that they are under Criminal Investigation Department and asked for the victim’s bank details

Netizens pointed out that the scammer is wearing a regular black hat and paste a piece of paper on it to look like the Police logo.
