Photos have been uploaded on social media of a White Toyota Vellfire vehicle turning against the flow of traffic on a one way road when exiting from a filter lane.
The Toyota Vellfire vehicle was first seen forming up at a stop line beside a Grabfood cyclist while waiting for their turn to turn out to the main road.
On the road itself, there is a left turn only sign indicating that the flow of traffic is only one way and vehicles coming out from the filter lane can only turn left and not turn right to filter to the opposite lane.
However, in a second picture, the Toyota Vellfire seems to have not noticed it or rather turning right on purpose as it was captured turning right on the left turn only lane.

A third picture then shows the Toyota Vellfire cutting across to the opposite lane, which is illegal to do so.

It is not known which part of Singapore the pictures were taken from.
Penalties
Under Singapore’s Traffic laws, vehicles are not allowed to drive against the flow of traffic and if found to have done so, faces a fine of $400 for light vehicles and $500 for heavy vehicles.
The total of eight demerit points will also be given to the driver of the vehicle.
