According to the Police, a 25-year-old has been arrested for various offences on Saturday (16 November 2019).

The offences he committed included the following
- Dangerous Driving
- Riding a vehicle without the owner’s consent
- Drug-related offence
The incident happened at around 8.14 AM Kallang Road, The rider was stopped by a Traffic Police for checks, but instead of complying to the officer the man sped off.
It is believed that the Police officer chased the rider from Kallang Road To King George’s Road. The rider skidded he bike during the escape and leaves the motorbike behind and continues his escape on foot.
A witness on the scene saw the man ran and hide at Blk 807 at King George’s Ave, the man was subsequently arrested.
