TRUCK DRIVER ALLEGEDLY ABANDONED 2 BABY KITTENS IN PLASTIC BAG @ SUNGEI KADUT

In a distressing incident near Kranji, two helpless kittens were discovered abandoned in a plastic bag and left hanging on a fire hydrant at 65 Sungei Kadut Drive.

On Jun. 14, a concerned netizen named Song Richard stumbled upon the distressing sight of the abandoned kittens on Jun. 13. Song took immediate action to bring attention to their plight and seek assistance.

As captured in the pictures shared by Song Richard on Facebook, the fragile kittens were left to fend for themselves. Situated atop a grimy towel inside a damp cardboard box, they emitted soft meows, expressing their vulnerability and desperate need for care and shelter.

According to Song’s account, the kittens were allegedly abandoned by a truck driver. Remarkably, Song managed to capture the truck driver’s number plate, which he shared in the comments section of his Facebook post.

Recognizing the urgency of the situation, Song Richard reached out to the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) for assistance.

In his Facebook post, he included a picture of the SPCA van, indicating that he had contacted the organization. The SPCA plays a vital role in protecting the welfare of animals and addressing cases of animal cruelty.

News of the abandoned kittens quickly spread, igniting widespread outrage within the community. People expressed their shock and concern over the heartless act, emphasizing the need for accountability and justice.

  1. So cruel, they still need mum’s milk. Cruel to separate mum and maybe also other siblings. Maybe driver is making several drop offs to intentionally separate the kittens and mums .. evil human!

Few years before also many kittens found at Sungei kadut near around the canteen where those workers resting..But already being rescued..So sad how can a tiny lil one can surive there at a dangerous place..There is a feeder there,but too many area there she feeding not only cats but dogs too..I even ever feed the straycats there few years back,its makes me cry to see them in a bad condition place with old vehicle already being scrap..Such a horrible place..
