Singapore Airlines said on 3 October that two of their cabin crew members were reportedly assaulted near their Melbourne hotel, according to Channel NewsAsia.
A spokesperson for the airline told CNA that two of their cabin crew members were attacked near their hotel entrance, but stopped short of mentioning when it happened.
The afflicted victims sustained superficial injuries and were treated by paramedics who arrived on the scene shortly after.
The spokesperson added that the crew members were then sent to a nearby hospital for further treatment, before being sent back to Singapore on the same day and are recuperating at home.
They added that the airlines will be providing all the necessary support to the affected staff members during this time.
At the time of writing, police investigations are ongoing and SIA is cooperating with the authorities on the incident.
