UK DOES NOT ALLOW E-SCOOTERS ON THE ROAD OR PUBLIC LAND

232312After the recent fatal incident that are related to E-scooters, it is interesting to study how other countries actually managed E-scooter usage law.

For countries such as UK, do not allow E-scooter to be on the road as they do not pay road tax and are not allowed in public areas as well. E-scooters are only legal to ride in private property or private. Guess this not only make it fair for the road users that actually pay road tax and safer for everyone.

They do not require license or insurance as well basically its banned in public areas.

While many local netizens voiced out banning of E-scooters, UK netizens are seeking to allow E-scooters as a greener way to travel with less impact to the environment.

What do you guys think? It is not easy to make pro-e scooter and anti-e scooter supporters happy, the best answer would be.

Can it be regulated to a stricter extend, such as minimum age, license and tax. We cant judge all E-scooter riders based on a few incidents. So its best to have it regulated just like our cars. Certain skill and safety awareness training needs to be implemented. In another words, Yes, a license.
