Twenty thousand foreign volunteers have joined Ukrainian forces to fight Russia since March 6.
Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky previously announced on 27 Feburary that an “international brigade” would be formed for foreign nationals who are willing to fight for them.
Reports then came pouring out with people from all over the world wanting to join the international brigade and fight for Ukraine.
Important note: It is worth highlighting that it is an offence for Singaporeans to join foreign armed forces to wage war, attempt to wage, or abet the waging of war, against the government of any power with which Singapore is not at war.
