A video circulating on social media captured the altercation, showing two men engaging in a physical fight while others attempted to intervene.

Two men who were involved in the fight have since been arrested by the police, and an ongoing investigation is underway.

The footage begins with an elderly man wearing a black shirt seen on the ground, surrounded by two women as he staggered on the ground.

The camera then reveals a woman in a white shirt loudly confronting a man in a grey shirt and pushing him, presumably for the part he played in the fracas.

As the video refocuses on the elderly man on the ground, it becomes apparent that the man on the ground had been involved in a scuffle with another man sporting a green shirt.

Both men persist in grappling with each other while the women make futile attempts to separate them. A man in grey and a staff member from one of the stalls also join the effort to break up the fight but with little success.

Amidst the ensuing chaos, the elderly man in the black shirt receives a striking kick to his face, as the woman in the white shirt strikes both combatants with what appears to be a slipper like how my mother used to hit me when I fought with my siblings.

Finally, the group manages to successfully separate the two individuals.

The elderly man is escorted towards one of the stalls, while the women guide his adversary to a nearby chair.

Even then, the enraged man continues to gesture angrily and shout at his opponent.

The Singapore Police Force (SPF) confirmed to 8 World News about receiving a report concerning the incident at approximately 9:05 p.m. at Block 327 Hougang Avenue 5.

According to the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), three individuals sustained minor injuries during the altercation. Two of them were transported to Sengkang General Hospital, while the third declined assistance.

SPF further verified that the two individuals, aged 53 and 63, arrived at the hospital conscious and were subsequently arrested for instigating the disturbance.
